Not gonna lie, it feels good to back in black. I know in this post, I mentioned that it was summer, so ’tis the season for color…but what can I say? Old habits die hard. This romper has all the bells and whistles too: pockets, a super comfy fit and a ruffled one shoulder detail! There are just some things a girl can’t say no to ๐

This top is a total dream for summer – it feels so good on because it’s super light andย flowy. The heat has been pretty intense here lately, so this material is just perfect. It originally came in 6ย different colors, but now it’s down to three (ugh..hate whenย that happens…)
You’veย already seen this clutch in this post, but it wentย perfectly with the top, so I had to bring it out again. I love how manyย different coloredย tassels there are because it really does end up going with everything. PS – it also comes in black (I want!!)

Last weekend was a busy one, with getting ready for the 4th and meeting my sisters for brunch (where my sister asked me to be Maid Of Honor in her wedding next May! So exciting!!). Well gang, it’s FINALLY here…my mostย favorite holiday of the year! What are your plans? Iย hope it consists of some fun in the sun with family & friends. We are hosting our annual 4th of July party, and I have to tell you I love every single second of it! From preparing the food and decorating the house (I swear, Pier 1 should send me a gift basket for all the business I give them this time of year), it ALL makes my heart SO happy. I have always had aย deep love for this amazing country, and given any reason to celebrate it, I’m there!ย
